Making a Booking
By booking an event with Sally’s Fish Camp, you agree to accept these terms and conditions on behalf of yourself and anyone else you make a booking for. You shall ensure that anyone else is provided with a copy of these terms and conditions. You are responsible for ensuring that the details you submit when booking are correct and up to date.

Places are booked on a first-come-first-served basis upon receipt of payment confirmation. To secure your booking for an event, full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept your booking when you receive the confirmation email from us. Prices for masterclasses/events are shown on our website.

Attendees must be over 18yrs and younger attendees between the ages 9-17yrs attending a masterclass/event must be accompanied by an adult.

If you or a member of your group cannot attend an event, you may send someone else in their/your place. Please let Sally’s Fish Camp know the name of the attendee in advance of the event.

 

Allergens & special dietary requirements
You must inform us of any food allergies or dietary requirements in writing.
You must notify us in writing if there are any changes to your details. When making a booking for someone else (including for a child) you will be responsible for confirming that the allergy and food requirements information is correct. We can not be held responsible for any issues arising from not being informed in advance.

For anyone under the age of 18 carrying an ‘Adrenaline Pen’ for allergies, the parent/guardian or person
authorised to administer the medicine, will need to remain at the masterclass/event throughout. Sally’s Fish Camp staff are not permitted to give the medication if needed.

Every endeavour will be made when preparing dishes for special dietary requirements.

You are required to review the masterclass/event details to ensure that they suit your needs and you must inform us in writing at the time of booking or as soon as possible thereafter if you have any allergies, disabilities or are pregnant.

We cannot guarantee that our venues are an allergen-free environment and accept no liability for any allergic reaction or other adverse reaction suffered. If you are unsure whether a course is suitable, please contact us via phone or email (contact via social media is not accepted). If you notify us within 5 days of your course that you have an allergy that we cannot accommodate, you will forfeit your place and no refund will be offered.

 

Health & Safety
All participants should wear shoes with covered toes. We are not liable for any damage which occurs to clothing. Long hair must be tied back. Aprons are provided.

You will adhere to the health and safety requirements set out in the introduction and obey any instructions given to you by Sally’s Fish Camp’s staff. You will maintain a reasonable standard of cleanliness and maintain a reasonable standard of safe behaviour.

If you have recently been unwell and experienced vomiting or diarrhoea, you must not attend the masterclass/event unless you have been clear of symptoms for at least 48 hours prior to commencement of your masterclass/event. If you are unable to attend due to illness, then you must contact Sally’s Fish Camp before the scheduled start time to cancel your place, and if available & within reasonable timescale, we will offer you a transfer to a future masterclass/event, at the time of cancellation, at no cost to you.

 

Food safety
Any food prepared and taken off the premises for your consumption is done so at your own risk and an ice bag will be provided. Please follow Food Standard Agency reheating guidelines.

 

Liability
Sally’s Fish Camp confirms that they have and maintain sufficient Public Liability Insurance for events of the nature of the booking. A copy of the certificate (or scanned PDF image) is available upon request.
Sally’s Fish Camp follows strict HACCP guidelines for all food production, handling, storage and distribution and dealings with our customers and their guests.

Where Sally’s Fish Camp use the venue’s kitchen facilities, they will be thoroughly reviewed prior to the masterclass/event but if they are deemed to be unusable on the event date, then Sally’s Fish Camp will accept no liability for cancellation of the masterclass/event.

All attendees/guests are responsible for their own belongings and we accept no liability for any loss or damage to these.

 

Alcohol
Masterclasses/events may include alcoholic beverages. Sally’s Fish Camp reserves the right to ask for proof of age before serving alcohol. If proof of age is not available, no alcohol will be served, but a selection of soft drinks may be available. We observe the Challenge 25 policy; see www.challenge25.org for more information.

Sally’s Fish Camp can refuse entry/remove you from a masterclass/event if in our reasonable opinion you behave in an unacceptable manner or we believe that you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. You are not permitted to bring alcohol to our masterclass/events.

Using knives and sharp tools, after consuming wine at lunchtime, is your own choice and responsibility.

 

Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers can be purchased online @sallysfishcamp. You will be sent an automated email confirmation and unique voucher code within 24 hours.

Gift vouchers must be redeemed within 12 months from date of purchase. After this date, the voucher is deemed invalid. Sally’s Fish Camp is not responsible for reminding or informing customers when a gift voucher is due to expire.

Gift vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash and are not refundable in any circumstances but are transferable to another person.

Gift Vouchers are not replaceable if lost, destroyed or stolen.

Gift voucher recipients must book a masterclass/event prior to the event date. When the recipient has booked onto an event our terms and conditions (including the cancellation) applies.

If the recipient is required to ‘add to’ the voucher, they must pay the difference when booking.

 

Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellations by us
We reserve the right to cancel, suspend or vary a course if events occur which are outside of our reasonable control (including seasonality of ingredients available, extreme weather, pandemic or power failure).

If we cancel a masterclass/event, we will endeavour to offer an alternative date within a reasonable period of time. If this is not possible, or you are unable to attend the masterclass/event on the revised date, the full purchase price of the masterclass/event will be refunded to you.
Sally’s Fish Camp will not be held liable for any other costs incurred, such as travel or accommodation costs.

Courses will only take place if the minimum number is met. If, within a reasonable period prior to the course date, the number of minimum bookings has not been met we reserve the right to cancel a course and an alternative date/course will be given or we will refund the full purchase price.

Cancellation by you
Up to 14 days of the start of your masterclass/event you may request a refund of the masterclass/event you have booked.
If you cancel your booking within 14 days of the start of your masterclass and we are unable to resell your place in the time remaining, you will forfeit any purchase associated with your booking. Our courses are planned in advance and as such, you are not entitled to cancel a course and obtain a refund if you no longer can or want to attend it.

It is advisable you have travel insurance from time of booking.

 

Privacy
All bookings will be dispatched after confirmation of payment through our online payment system.

All transactions are processed through a secure payment gateway. All transactions are highly encrypted through our SSL license and your credit or debit card details are never passed on to us or to any other party.

We are committed to protecting your privacy and will only use the information we collect about you lawfully.

When you request a specific service, such as subscription to our newsletter, the type of information we collect this way will include your name and email address. Information gathered for this purpose will never be used for any other purpose or shared with any other companies. We will always give you the option to unsubscribe from our newsletter facility by clicking the ‘Unsubscribe’ button that appears on each newsletter. We will never collect sensitive information from you without your consent.

 

Photography & videography
Photographs & videography taken by Sally’s Fish Camp throughout the masterclass/event may be shared on social media and used on our website and in advertising. No personal details will ever be published with the photographs and videography. Those who do not wish to be photographed/filmed need to let us know in advance and are responsible for removing themselves from any group photos.

 

Personal Information
We will ask you to complete a health questionnaire before the class. We will process this personal information for the purposes of tailoring and providing the class to you, in accordance with your consent.
We may contact you via email following the masterclass/event.

 

Email marketing
If you have opted in to receive our email marketing, you will receive regular updates including events, offers and news from our business. You can opt out at any time by clicking on the ‘unsubscribe’ link at the bottom of the emails or by emailing us. We do not and will not share your data with any third parties.

 

Website disclaimer
Through this website you are able to link to other websites which are not under the control of us. We have no control over the nature, content and availability of those sites. The inclusion of any links does not necessarily imply a recommendation or endorse the views expressed within them.
